I am living in Yogyakarta, which is the college hub of Indonesia. Before I arrived in Yogyakarta I had to spend a few days in Jakarta clearing my visa at various immigration offices. Below are some photographs of Jakarta.
You can click on the photographs to make the bigger.
Way to get the ball rolling on your photo projects. Love the logo and the shots.
ReplyDeleteLove your new site, Todd--especially the overall design and the concentration on photographs of scenes that inspired you at a particular moment. Keep on truckin' and let us know your thoughts and impressions of Indonesia through your lens! PS: Thanks for the tip on my blog, it answered my question as to where all my links disappeared too--I couldn't SEE them at all and just thought there was something wrong with Google (don't be offended Erik). But, as usual, it was a user's problem!
ReplyDeleteSweet logo for the blog. How did you make it?
ReplyDeleteTodd - I LOVE this site. Starting with the stellar "indonesi@night" - VERY clever - and catchy. Guess Indo is bringing out the artist in you :-) Jakarta looks very modern (at night) and clean - except for the graffiti. Guess taggers are everywhere.
ReplyDeleteKeep the photos coming - I love 'em. And I especially like the yellow beanie you're wearing (ha ha)
I love them all :-) The first one is the new Air Asia terminal or the International one? And the last picture; where is it? You know what it saying on the side of the wall..? " Please don't throw the garbage, keep this place clean"... Oh Indonesia so much needs to be done here in terms of human resources.
ReplyDeleteAwesome site. Love the Burger King, McDonalds, and "not free trade" graffiti in photo #3.
ReplyDeleteAnneke- I used abobe illustrator for the design. unfortunately we did go over illustrator at CSUN :-)
ReplyDeleteNancy- That is terminal 3 (domestic). It is really nice. You might use that when traveling to Jakarta on Thurs.
You are my hero! (Did I mention that I miss you, immensly!)
ReplyDeletehaha thanks ken!
