  2. Seriously, at $.12/lb even a skinflint like you should be eating a dozen mangoes a day. They are "high in prebiotic dietary fiber, vitamin C, polyphenols and provitamin A carotenoids"... I don't know what any of that means, but a nutritionist somewhere just got the goosebumps.

  3. Yeah, I am a big fan of manggas. Many fruit stands have blenders and will make whatever kind of juice you want. I average about 3 mangga juices a week, Mel likes guava. E, what nutrients are found in guava juice? Ha!

  5. I've been told some guavas are packed w/vitamin C, but that is entirely dependent upon the type of guava (look for the red flesh variety). But I'd stick with Mangoes. Why? Because they are much tastier; no amount of minerals can compete with benefits of inner peace.
